1. Where do you mostly fly?
Canungra, Manilla.
2. Which pilots most influenced you?
Ron McKenzie, Fred Gungle, Nikolay Shorohov, Craig Collins, Vyparina brothers, Jason Turner.
3. Where and what was your most memorable flying experience, best flight ever?
Manilla always providing long distances, time in the air and retrieves. Balli and Stanwell are good fun for close to the ground experience. Canungra is a good mix of scenery. European comps is hard to forget for fast racing, clouds with rocks and Russians in them, nice views and good pilots.
4. What is your favourite flying site in your State?
Canungra.
5. What is your favourite site in Australia?
Manilla.
6. What is your favourite site in World?
Manilla.
7. What is you favourite item in your flying kit and why?
Me, when I am happy. Dot on my XC Soar because it is blue and makes happy noises. Trimmers because it is kind of cheating device in thermals. Speed bar because I can push it.
8. What do you believe to be your strongest flying skill?
Logic.
9. What do you believe to be your weak link?
Gaggle flying.
10. What equipment do you use, Harness, Instruments, etc?
Lightness, couple of phones, led and water.
11. Best comp task you’ve flown so far, the most memorable?
Few in mind. First in goal first time, and few other times... Some spectacular flying next to clouds at the start on Tambo last year, few long final glides, few glides past sunset.
12. Why do you fly?
Because I can and because I can't not to.
13. What are your personal flying goals?
Help others.
14. What tips can you give to newcomers to the sport?
Keep trying, sometimes in other ways.
